Jacquelyn Hadley is a Partner of The Bridgespan Group, a non-profit advisor and resource for mission-driven organisations and philanthropists which collaborates with social sector leaders to help scale impact, build leadership, advance philanthropic effectiveness and accelerate learning.
Jacquelyn’s engagements have focused on evolving clients’ operating models, organisational designs, effective decision making, and performance management to enable higher, durable levels of impact. This work includes leading major strategic initiatives with The Salvation Army’s United States and World Service office units, helping them envision how to dramatically increase their social services and global development outcomes. This work has featured comprehensive piloting and measurement learning agendas to enable the organisations to scale what is working and steward resources effectively.
She brings over 25 years of executive management experience from the for-profit world to the nonprofit sector. Prior to joining Bridgespan, Jacquelyn was senior vice president of Levi Strauss, based in Brussels, Belgium, for five years with responsibility for all sales and country management earnings for the Europe, Middle East and Africa business unit, comprised of 18 countries. There she developed a ground-breaking retail model, successfully taking it from pilot concept to broad adoption across this highly decentralized geographic structure.
Jacquelyn has deep strategic, operational and marketing experience building globally regarded consumer brands. As senior vice president of Marketing for Calvin Klein Jeans and Underwear brands, she was responsible for strategy and retail development. As chief operating officer of Caswell-Massey, America’s fourth oldest company, she restored profitability through operations rationalization and product innovation. She first gained her brand-building expertise at Avon, followed by Revlon where, as vice president of Marketing, she successfully integrated two new business acquisitions. Jacquelyn began her career at AT&T, focused on employee communications.
For the past five years, she also has served on the Goodwill Industries and KIPP Bay Area boards. Jacquelyn co-leads Bridgespan’s board governance capability, and leads its change management and results delivery approaches to accelerate breakthrough results. She recently published Living into Your Strategic Plan: A Guide to Implementation that Gets Results.
Jacquelyn’s educational background includes a BA from the University of Georgia, and an MBA with honours from Harvard Business School.
