Congress Centre Facilities

Facilities provided at the Prague Congress Centre include:


GROUND FLOOR

Information desk in the centre of the Congress Hall foyer.

Cloakrooms either side of the information desk.

Café situated behind the central staircase.

Salvationist Publishing and Supplies from the United Kingdom and the Trade Department from the Netherlands are both next to the information desk.

Medical room. For medical attention go to the information desk. A medical room and staff are available.


FIRST FLOOR

Prayer room in Club B. This will be available for anyone to use while the Congress Centre is open.

Buffet near the escalators. The ZOOM Restaurant will not be open.

Exhibitions and stalls near the central staircase.

These include:         

  • The Catherine Programme
    The Catherine Programme is a Summer School for candidates, cadets, officers, people in short-term full time ministry, such as Envoys and Auxiliary Captains, and employees who are in a leadership role
     
  • Centre for Spiritual Life Development (CSLD)
    The CSLD is part of International Headquarters and exists to facilitate the development of the spiritual lives of Salvationists by offering conferences and events, providing resources and encouraging opportunities for spiritual growth
     
  • Sally Ann Global
    Sally Ann is a Salvation Army trading initiative that uses suitable trading activities to give disadvantaged people hope, opportunities and the means to achieve their own independent development
     
  • Anti-trafficking ministry
    The display has information about human trafficking and how The Salvation Army is supporting victims.
     
  • European Sports Ministry
    The display shows how The Salvation Army can use sport in its mission by building relationships with people.
     
  • Czech Republic sales stall

 

Shopping, eating and wifi

From the Congress Centre (Vyšehrad station) take the metro two stops to Pankrác station, where there is a large shopping centre with many cafés and restaurants (including McDonalds and KFC) providing free wireless internet access. There is also a foreign exchange ATM. Pankrác station is on the red line (line C - towards Háje).
