Hello, my name's Martina and I was born in Prague during a communist regime that was known for its persecution of the Christian faith. I left the country as a refugee in 1987 and have been living in Copenhagen for the last 25 years.
I started working for The Salvation Army in Denmark in 2009 and am currently teaching IT classes for seniors at our local centre, where I also worked as a debt counsellor until recently. I became a soldier in April this year. I'm looking forward to being able to experience the return of The Salvation Army to the Czech Republic. The fact that this congress is being held in Prague has a deep personal meaning for me.
Find out Martina's reaction to Forward! Europe later.
