Barracks: An early name for a building in which Salvation Army meetings were held, later usually known as the 'Hall' or 'Citadel'.
Corps: A Salvation Army unit established for the preaching of the gospel and service in the community.
Circle Corps: A number of Societies grouped together so as to form one Corps, under the charge of the same officers
Citadel: A hall used for worship.
Hall:The name of the building in which Army meetings are held
Outpost: A locality in which Army work is carried on and where it is hoped a society or corps will develop.
Society: A company of soldiers who work together regularly in a district, without an officer, but with the approval of the divisional commander.
