Rockdale Salvos (Australia Eastern Territory) took part in 168 unbroken hours of prayer from the 17th-24th August. Commissioner Lyn Pearce, Colonel Janet Munn and Major Sharon Clanfield led mid week seminars on prayer and the 24-7 culminated in a time of corporate worship.
Corps Officers Majors Paul and Romona Kinder testify to what happened during the week:
+ We rejoice that two staff of our SALVOS Store have received Christ as Lord in the Prayer Room.
+ We rejoice with the prayer warrior who was able to KNEEL at the Mercy Seat to pray and worship her Lord, after years of being unable to do so. Salvation and healing in the Prayer Room.
+ We rejoice that God who invited us to come and dwell into His presence and listen to Him has spoken and given our Corps a clear word for the next season in our community life... The trickle of souls has begun and is about to be a flood.
+ We rejoice that God has called equipped, anointed and commissioned his people to disciple those who come.
What a week! What a journey head!
Thanks be to God through our Lord Jesus Christ!
