This month we commemorate one year of the announcement of the Global Call to 24/7 Prayer. So far hundreds of Salvation Army locations from 45 Territories have committed to the day and night cry for justice. To mark this date we have launched a video with the participation of General Linda Bond encouraging Salvationists to persist in prayer.
We have the opportunity to see one of the ways the Kenya East Territory is encouraging opportunities for spiritual growth with the conclusion of the second series of spiritual life development training for officers and Lieut-Colonel Karen Shakespeare contributes with an article on spiritual formation.God bless,

Spiritual life development training in Kenya East
The Kenya East Territory has been effective in encouraging intentional and systematic opportunities for spiritual growth. The second session of the spiritual life development training concluded this month with the participation of 26 delegates.
Spiritual experience: relational, transformational and vocational
Lieut-Colonel Karen Shakespeare (Principal of SALT College) addresses the personal side of spiritual formation but also the importance of it's development in community and in our leadership, adding helpful questions for discussion.
