NEWSLETTER - AUGUST 2011

CSLD Centre for Spiritual Life Development Newsletter

August 2011 - Edition 02

Dear Friends,

This month our newsletter is focused on prayer. Secretary for Spiritual Life Development, Lt. Colonel Janet Munn directs us to think about the need for us to be persistent in prayer with questions for reflection.

General Linda Bond has called The Salvation Army to unite in a weekly 30-minute international prayer meeting which will commence on Thursday, 1st September. You can find out how you and your immediate community can commit to this.

And finally, we present some Salvation Army websites with different resources to help enrich your prayer life.

God bless,

Lieut Colonels Janet Munn & Karen Shakespeare

As from Thursday, 1st September, The Salvation Army will be holding a weekly 30-minute worldwide prayer meeting. Salvationists can select a period between 5.00am and 8.00am. There is the possibility that for all, or most, of every Thursday the Army will be at prayer. See how you can take part, either individually or in group.
