Our secondary school actively encourage any students, both pre and post graduates, wanting to gain teaching and/or youth work experience to join us for a period of time on  placement. Volunteers, project workers, groups and any guests visiting will always be made welcome. The school has recently built a new guest house, with modern facilities for visitors to lodge. Those visitors intending to visit Chikankata on either personal, placement or business visits, will find the lodge to be just the right place for them.  The guest house has 6 rooms altogether with a total capacity of 12. We have a range of rooms from self contained to single rooms. Our prices are:

Self Contained double room	Single room twin bed
$24 per night per room	$20 per night per room

 However, we do have special rates for those who volunteer, so please enquire! For teacher placements and teaching electives please contact us at the high school so that we can work together and make the most of your visit.
