Chikankata hosts a large number of visitors every year. Many come from within Zambia, others from around the world.

The majority of visitors attend for seminars, workshops and training courses run by the HIV Aids Response Department but there are also those who visit for:

  • Medical Student Electives
  • Teaching Student Electives
  • Research
  • Church and Youth Groups
  • Short term Mission Projects
  • Rural Health Sector Experiences

We actively encourage anyone who would like to visit us, to come and experience life at our mission and within our community. We cater for all types of groups including church mission groups, youth groups, school  groups, charity groups, professional partnering groups and encourage ethical tourism simply because your  visit will encourage and help us sustain our community. We also have a seminar centre and can cater for any business or international conferences.  All money raised will go directly back into the mission and community. We  are extremely flexible and can help arrange your trip to visit our mission, from picking you up at the airport to dropping you back off at the airport and giving you advice and support whilst you are within Zambia. We actively encourage your participation and we have a programme which we can tailor towards your needs and help cost out for you.
