Who does the Salvation Army Toy Center Serve? This year, we expect to serve 2200-2500 familes in the Winnipeg Area. These are families, with very limited incomes, who really appreciate a helping hand at Christmas time. We also assist children with toys throughout the year - whose families have lost everything due to fires, floods and other natural disasters.
What can I donate? We are looking for new, unwrapped toys for children between 0 and 14 years old age. Please keep in mind when you shop that we always run short of toys for older children.
When can I donate a Toy? You can donate a new, unwrapped toy to one of our Toy depot locations before Friday, December 18th. However, please keep in mind that the Salvation Army requires time to sort and distribute the toys and ask you to donate the toys in advance.
How Do I Receive Toys From the Salvation Army Toy Center? Please call us at 946-9490. Phone lines open November 2nd , 2009 at 9am. When you call you will be given an appointment to register for Toys at the Salvation Army 324 Logan (Lizzie & Logan).
The Salvation Army Toy Center will distribute toys on December 17, 18, 21, 22 (you must be registered to receive toys and assistance). Please call 946-9490 for more information.
