Who?
For those who are committed to Jesus, actively involved
in church life and aged between 17 and 30 and keen to
experience a new challenge, discover and use your gifts,
move out of your comfort zone and to see God at work in
the world.
Where?
Previous missions have been to the Czech Republic, Latvia,
Spain, Finland, Estonia and more. This year we are off
to Tanzania.
What?
As part of a team you'll get stuck into serving and working
with The Salvation Army in its community work with orphans
and vulnerable children particularly. You'll be provided
with two days of training and the resources that you'll
need and then be working with experienced leaders in your
placement. Your team will live and work alongside the
locals in the area, learning the way of life in that country
and community.
When?
Running from Monday 26 July for about four weeks this
summer.
How?
The mission this summer costs £1,300 and covers
the cost of training, flights, accommodation, resources,
insurance, administration and so on. Summer missions are
run in partnership with Oasis Trust Global Action Teams
and so Oasis process all the applications and administration.
The Salvation Army is intrinsically involved in the planning,
training, delivery and de-brief of the mission.
