If
all you do is love the lovable do you
expect a bonus? These words from The
Message certainly have a bit of a sting
to them. They are challenging beyond
measure. How do we respond to those
that aren’t like us, don’t
have the same sense of humour, lifestyle
or culture, bully us or trample on our
feelings? Jesus teaches us to love our
enemies and also challenges us to do
for others what we would have them do
to us. Take time to read this familiar
passage and reflect on how God may want
you to love the enemy that you face.
