Throughout his ministry, Jesus spent time with all sorts of people from the powerful to the powerless. He listened to those who did not have a voice and confounded the expectations and classifications of respectable society when he did.

ALOVE’s social action is all about working with those that are ignored or disregarded by society today, to ensure their voice is heard and their needs are met. It’s about campaigning on key issues in our world and developing social inclusion programmes that will nurture community, build up lives and restore relationships.

ALOVE is looking for young people who want to change the world. Contrary to what the media would have you believe we are not living with an apathetic youth generation. In the US, for example, more young adults are doing community and charity work than ever before.

This is a generation that has been trusted and given the opportunities to make a difference.
