Volunteering at Serendipity is a great opportunity to have fun while doing meaningful community service. (Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4:30 pm)
Individuals who are outgoing and love to help people who are full of life are perfect volunteers for our Older Alaskans Program. Help serve hot nutritious meals to a diverse clientele. Volunteers assist seniors during mealtime and help clean the cafeteria afterward. (Monday through Thursday, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.)
We also need volunteers to help pack individual meals for Meals on Wheels. Dish and wrap meals to be distributed to clients (Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 10 am)
Help keep a clean and safe working environment for children. Volunteers assist with janitor duties at the Anchorage Corps Community Center including vacuuming, cleaning the chapel and bathrooms. (Monday through Friday, 1 to 3 pm)
We also need volunteers to work at the front desk during our After School Program. Greet parents and answer the phone (Monday through Friday, 4 to 6 pm)
Nursery volunteers are needed for an hour during Chapel to watch an average of four children ages six months to five years. With your help, parents will be able to give all of their attention to the word of God. (Sundays, 11 am to 12 noon)
