Salvation Army Recongized by Chamber for Outstanding Community Service

The Salvation Army Gateway Corps Community Center, under the leadership of Major Loni Upshaw, was presented an award for Outstanding Community Service by the Greater Ketchikan Chamber of Commerce at its recent Annual Awards Banquet.

Surprised by the unexpected recognition, Major Upshaw extended her appreciation to the members and friends of The Salvation Army Gateway Corps, who give their best in serving the needs of others.

The award was presented to the Corps on Sunday morning, with Major Loni sharing, "God is so good and blesses us in so many ways...not with awards, but with Servants who serve others in His name!"

Congratulations!
